WATCH: Former USC assistant Tony Bland Sentenced in college basketball corruption trial

In the first sentencing for a coach involved in the college basketball corruption trials, former USC assistant Tony Bland received two years probation, 100 hours of community service and no jail time.

In January, Bland admitted to accepting $4,100 cash from Christian Dawkins, an aspiring sports agent, to encourage USC players to use Dawkins’ services once they left college. Bland pled guilty to a felony count of conspiracy to commit bribery.

Bland accepted the smallest amount of cash of the four former assistant coaches involved in this case. Former Arizona assistant Book Richardson and former Oklahoma State assistant Lamont Evans will learn their fate later this week, while former Auburn assistant Chuck Person will hear his later this year.
