Steve Smith didn’t become one of the sport’s best undersized wide receivers of all time by being nice.
Speaking on NFL Network on Saturday during the scouting combine drills, Smith took a shot at Jason Witten’s return to football from the broadcast booth. Witten signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys after a dismal season calling games on “Monday Night Football” for ESPN. Witten’s year ended on a particularly embarrassing note when he accidentally broke the Pro Bowl trophy.
