Watch former Ohio State WR Parris Campbell throw out the first pitch for the Cincinnati Reds

Former Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell may be getting ready for the 2019 NFL Draft, but there’s always time for baseball, right? There has been a history of former Buckeye football players and coaches throwing out ceremonial first pitches for both the Indians and Reds, and now Campbell has gotten in on the act.

Campbell was asked to throw out the first pitch Wednesday before the Reds took on the Miami Marlins at Great American Ballpark and was happy to oblige.

Now, we’re not judging Parris, but the pitch was bit weak and almost had catcher Kyle Farmer scrambling to catch it on the fly. To say that it was just a bit inside would be an understatement.

But hey, Campbell’s going to earn his money catching footballs and running really fast, so who cares. It had to be a pretty cool moment for him.
