Watch former MSU Safety Montae Nicholson get a pick-6 on Andy Dalton

Montae Nicholson, like Khari Willis this year, was a 4th round pick for the Washington Redskins back in 2017 and he is slowly turning into a great pro. This isn’t a shock to me as I truthfully thought Nicholson could’ve been a 1st or 2nd round pick and, at still just 23 years old, I think he still has pro bowl potential.

Well, he’s already making plays for the 2019-20 season. Check him out picking off Andy Dalton for the pick-6 last night.

Here is what our sister site, RedskinsWire, said of the play:

“PICK SIX ALERT. WE HAVE A PICK SIX ALERT.

The Washington Redskins recovered quickly from a sluggish start, and a batted ball from Daron Payne allowed Montae Nicholson to pick off the pass from Andy Dalton and take the interception 96-yards for the opening points.

The game got off to a very slow start, with seven penalty flags in the first seven plays. Due to two separate personal foul penalties on Josh Norman, the Bengals crept inside the red zone, where Nicholson got the interception.

And then Dustin Hopkins missed the extra point.”
