WATCH: Former MSU Basketball star Cassius Winston makes NBA debut

Michigan State basketball star Cassius Winston has made his NBA debut for the Washington Wizards in a game against the Phoenix Suns. Cassius had seen game action in the preseason but had yet to see any in the regular season until last night.

Winston was acquired by Washington via a draft-day trade after the point guard was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 53rd pick in the second round.

The former Michigan State star is looking to find what his role in the NBA will look like. Cassius will continue developing and hopefully turn into a contributor in the league.
