WATCH: Former Jags RB Denard Robinson propels Legends to first AAF win with a touchdown

Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson didn’t get off to the fastest start in the new Alliance of American League, however, it appears he’s beginning to find his groove. In Sunday night’s matchup between the Atlanta Legends and Arizona Hotshots, the former Jags all-purpose weapon was able to find the end zone for his first touchdown in the AAF, which ultimately propelled the Legends to their first win of the season.

Robinson’s score came in the red-zone on a 9-yard option play from Legends quarterback Aaron Murray. He showcased the speed that Jags fans all grew to love during the play and went untouched on his sprint to the end zone.

Robinson finished the game with nine carries for 43 yards and the touchdown seen above. His rushing score marked the Legends’ second touchdown on the season, which goes to show fans how hard it has been for the team to accumulate points. That said, hopefully Robinson can continue to contribute as he did Sunday and help the Legends break even at a record of 2-2 Week 4 as they take on the Memphis Express.
