Watch: Former Georgia RB Elijah Holyfield scores first career NFL TD

On Thursday night, former Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield scored the first touchdown of his NFL career.

Playing Roquan Smith and the Chicago Bears, the Carolina Panthers running back caught a pass from one-time Florida Gator quarterback Will Grier on the outside, executed a nice little move and leaped for the end zone.

Holyfield, who left Georgia after three seasons and was picked up as an undrafted free agent by the Panthers, actually never did record a single receiving touchdown during his time as a Bulldog.

Holyfield finished his Georgia career with 1,340 yards – 1,018 his junior year – and nine touchdowns.
