WATCH: Former Celtics team president on the state of Boston’s roster, play this season

Four decades after a gangly kid from Eugene, Oregon started playing for the Boston Celtics, champion Celtic shooting guard Danny Ainge got together with Chris Forsberg to talk about the state of the team he won two titles with as a player and served as President of Basketball Operations of for two decades until the end of last season.

Ainge and Forsberg recently spoke on the team’s rough start and spate of lingering injuries to a number of important players, some of which date back to Ainge’s tenure as team president, and a number of issues that have yet to find stability under the new regime of Ime Udoka.

Watch the video embedded below to get Ainge’s perspective on the team he ran as recently as the 2020-21 NBA season, and where he thinks it is headed.
