Watch former Celtic starlet Ben Doak turn on Liverpool style by blitzing Napoli with super solo goal

Ben Doak has shown what he could have brought to the Celtic senior ranks had he not moved to Liverpool in the winter.

The attacker was handed minutes in a 3-0 derby win for Celtic over Rangers earlier this year as he was given a taste of life in Ange Postecoglou's senior plans, but the lure of Anfield was too much and he jumped ship. Doak has started this season in fine form and his latest goal in the UEFA Youth League against Napoli was one to be proud of.

He provided an assist for Oakley Cannonier's eventual winner but his opening goal was the real headline moment. He started a run in his own half, bombing down the right and weaving into a shooting position past a few defenders inside the box, firing low into the bottom corner. Gennaro Iaccarino had levelled for Napoli but Doak turned on the clinical style twice.

It adds to his form within the academy, where he's netted twice with an assist in three games at U18s Premier League level.

Doak made two appearances for the senior Celtic Park side before his move to the English Premier League giants, who'll face Rangers in the UEFA Youth League.

Back at his former club, the Hoops kicked off their campaign in European youth football's elite competition with a tough 6-0 loss against Real Madrid.
