MANILA, Philippines – After teasing audiences in September 2017 with their first look at Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, a trailer for the Queen biopic has finally been released. (LOOK: Rami Malek transforms into Freddie Mercury for Queen biopic)

The trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody above is set to a mash-up of Queen songs, including “Another One Bites the Dust," "Killer Queen,” "We Will Rock You," and of course, the eponymous "Bohemian Rhapsody.”

As Queen’s iconic songs take us on a walk down memory lane, we catch scenes of their life as a band: concerts, recording sessions, and their rock ’n’ roll lifestyle.

The trailer’s description box says that Bohemian Rhapsody is a celebration of Queen, their music, and their lead singer Freddie Mercury: “The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.”

Playing Freddie Mercury is Rami Malek. Playing Mercury’s bandmates are Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor, Gwilym Lee as Brian May, and Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon.

Bohemian Rhapsody is directed by Bryan Singer and Dexter Fletcher. It’s set to be released in US cinemas on November 2. – Rappler.com
