Watch fighting cats produce Lion King tribute on Bristol rooftop

This is the moment a vicious brawl between two cats mimicked a scene from The Lion King.

Footage shows a small cat desperately clinging to a shed roof in a Bristol garden before plummeting to the ground after being swiped by a larger feline.

The scene mirrored the iconic moment from Disney's The Lion King where Mufasa is flung to his death by brother Scar.

An eyewitness said: "I was outside having my morning coffee when I heard a cat yelp out.

"I've seen the little one about before but the big grey one took me by surprise.

"At first I thought it was a fox so I whipped out my phone to take a picture so I could show my housemates.

"My phone was already on video mode so I just rolled with the punches and pressed the record button.

"As soon as I pressed it the grey one started to attack the little cat.

"I was a few houses away so it wasn't like I could intervene but I was really worried about the smaller one.

"It had just been sitting there minding its own business.

"It was over in seconds but the end bit looked like Mufasa and Scar in The Lion King.

"The grey one just scurried off after the other one fell.

"It definitely had a guilty look about him.

"I was really worried the little cat was left with a broken leg so I raced to the end of the garden to see."

They added: "It looks like cats really do have nine lives."
