Watch: Fight breaks out at Rams-Raiders joint practice

Things got chippy between the Los Angeles Rams and Oakland Raiders during their first practice session Wednesday, and tempers boiled over on Day 2. A fight broke out between the two teams on Thursday with punches being thrown.

It sounds like Raiders rookie Tyler Roemer and Rams pass rusher Josh Carraway were at the center of the brawl. Thing settled down not long after the fight broke out and practice continued.

Not surprisingly, Sean McVay and Andrew Whitworth were among those who came over to try to settle things down, though the brawl had subsided by the time they arrived. McVay sprinted over from the other field where the Rams offense was working against Oakland’s defense.

Aaron Donald was also involved in a skirmish, getting into it with guard Gabe Jackson. Not long thereafter, Jackson was carted off the field, though it’s unclear if the scuffle was the cause of his injury.

With cameras always rolling for HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” this fight will most likely be one of the highlights of next week’s episode.
