Watch fans clash in Headingley at Afghanistan v Pakistan Cricket World Cup match

Videos shared on social media appear to show clashes outside Headingley Stadium at the Cricket World Cup match between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The short clip posted on Twitter by @MurtazaViews shows fans pushing against a fence held by security staff at Headingley Stadium.

The two teams are known to share a fierce rivalry, and a big crowd had been expected for the match.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that they were contacted just before noon and that officers had been in attendance at the scene, but no further details have been confirmed.

Headingley is hosting four matches as part of the Cricket World Cup, including England's damaging defeat to Sri Lanka.
