Watch - Family's incredible lockdown rendition of Les Misérables song

A family trapped inside during the coronavirus lockdown has gone viral after they created a new version of a Les Misérables song.

The Marsh family, from Kent, posted a video of themselves online singing a lockdown-themed version of One Day More.

The family-of-six went viral after the post was shared more than 229,000 times on Facebook.

The Marsh family appeared on This Morning to talk about the viral video (ITV)

In the video, the family sing: "I had no football match today. How can I play when we are parted?

"Our grandparents are miles away. They can't work Skype, we're broken hearted."

The family appeared on This Morning to talk to Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield about going viral.

Mum Danielle said: "It is completely surreal, it has been the craziest 40 hours.

"It just snowballed, it has been completely bizarre."

Dad Dr Ben Marsh, a history lecturer, said the family doesn't have a musical theatre background but the four children play instruments and sing in bands.

Asked how they decided who would sing what, he said: "Well the problem with that song is that the boys never wanted to do the romantic parts. Because we were able to make it about football, or pizza, or school, it suited everyone!"
