WATCH: Falcons’ McKinley answers 7 consecutive questions with ‘good’

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley fulfilled his contractual obligations to cooperate with the news media Friday – just barely. The 2017 first-round draft pick out of UCLA met with the media for a short and not-so-sweet (for reporters) interview session in which the 23-year-old answered seven different questions with very slight differentiating answers of the word “good.”

One unamused Falcons reporter tweeted afterward an excerpt from Clause 4 in NFL Players’ standard contracts which mandates participation in media sessions that are “reasonable,” adding his own commentary that “Some players don’t know what’s in the contract they signed.” McKinley quote tweeted the excerpt and commentary with a SpongeBob meme indicating what his interview session already seemed to say — the athlete knew exactly what he was doing.
