Cornerback Orlando Scandrick appeared on FS1’s Undisputed Friday and ripped the Eagles organization just days after the team released the 32-year-old Monday.
Scandrick described his own release as “scapegoat-ish,” saying that the issues in the Philadelphia locker room are far bigger than just him.
Specifically, the cornerback singled out respected safety Malcolm Jenkins by questioning his leadership. Scandrick also said that he does not trust the Eagles’ general manager.
“I don’t believe anything Howie Roseman says,” Scandrick said. “Howie is one of the people if he told me it was raining outside, I’d probably get some shorts just in case.”
According to The Athletic, Jenkins responded to the appearance on the show by saying, “For us to move on as a team, we can’t have [expletive] like that in the room.”
