Watch European Cup legend Colin Barrett serenade Nottingham Forest's travelling fans

Miracle man Colin Barrett threw his support behind Nottingham Forest at Loftus Road on Saturday, and it clearly had a positive impact on his old club.

The Reds legend, who famously scored the goal that helped Brian Clough’s men knock Liverpool out of the European Cup, travelled to London to cheer on the Reds to a 1-0 win at QPR.

Prior to the final away game of the campaign, and as has become customary for Reds fans and Barrett, the 66-year-old led the traveling faithful at the Garden Bar in Shepherd's Bush into the famous terrace song, recounting that famous moment in 1979.

Barrett, who is a regular watcher of Martin O’Neill’s Reds on home turf at the City Ground, also led a chorus of the Reds’ famous anthem, Mull of Kintyre.

Forest, backed by a healthy 2,367 travelling contingent ended their campaign on the road in style, courtesy of Karim Ansarifard’s crisply taken finish 10 minutes into the second half.

Nottingham Forest expect Bolton clash to go ahead on Sunday - but it may not be Wanderers' final match of the season

That proved to be the only goal of the game, though the Reds did have Costel Pantilimon to thank for ensuring they held onto their first away win since November, saving a Nakhi Wells penalty two minutes from time.

Roy Keane's media appearances could hinder Nottingham Forest's transfer business, says Stan Collymore
