Watch: ESPN ranks the NFC South quarterbacks

Just when it looked like the NFC South‘s elite group of quarterbacks was coming back down to earth with Cam Newton departing, the Buccaneers went out and signed six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

And just like that, the Atlanta Falcons will enter another season with Matt Ryan — a former MVP and one of the most prolific quarterbacks ever statistically — as an afterthought behind Brady and Drew Brees.

Ryan, despite being over six years younger than both Brady and Brees, is being ranked as the third-best quarterback in the division by many national media outlets.

On a recent episode of ESPN’s morning program Get Up, the four analysts were asked to rank the quarterbacks of the NFC South. Ryan consistently was picked as the third-best QB, and only Dan Graziano picked Ryan as the division’s No. 1 passer.
