Ernest Jones has been a valuable contributor for the Rams in the last two weeks since earning a larger role with Troy Reeder struggling and Kenny Young in Denver. He broke up a pass and recorded a half-sack last week against the Jaguars, and on Monday night, he came up with another clutch play.
After Aaron Donald pressured Kyler Murray and tipped a pass deep in the red zone, Jones came down with the interception at the 1-yard line and returned it 31 yards to the Rams’ 32-yard line.
It kept the Cardinals’ lead to just three points, not only keeping them out of the end zone but also preventing a field goal attempt.
