WATCH: Enes Kanter dunked on by Tacko Fall while hosting free camp

While hosting his 50th free basketball camp of the summer, Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter issued a challenge to 7-foot-7 rookie center Tacko Fall, standing inside the restricted area as the Senegalese big man dribbled a few feet away, eyeing Kanter with bemusement.

By the time Fall began to gather, Kanter already knew that a block attempt would be a lost cause.

A colossal human being, Fall already has a standing reach just under 10-foot-3. Factor in a 26.5-inch vertical leap and the ball was two and a half feet above the rim when Fall was at his highest point mid-flight.

Kanter is 6-foot-11 with a 9-foot-1 standing reach and a 32.5-inch max vertical, so Fall would have held the ball about eight inches over Kanter’s outstretched hands had he gave his best effort.

Perhaps that’s why Kanter didn’t bother trying at all.
