Watch Edinburgh Waverley burst into song with Bohemian Rhapsody 'flash-mob' performance

This is the moment Edinburgh Waverley came to a standstill - thanks to an impromptu performance of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Late-night passengers at the capital's station were left stunned after Kayos Theatre Company from Inverclyde began their flash-mob style performance in the station's waiting room.

Within seconds almost the entire room was joining in, belting out the Queen classic for all to hear.

The group took over the station's piano which - much like in Glasgow Central - is positioned for talented passengers to delight those waiting to board trains.

In their bright yellow jumpers the group didn't shy away from the challenging song, clapping along and making it a great experience for everyone around.

Kayos are in Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival this weekend, performing their musical comedy "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee".

The group's Fringe Twitter account shared the video on Twitter, captioning it: "10:45pm at Edinburgh Waverley Station! This is why we love the Edinburgh Fringe!"

A number of people then commented on the post, complimenting the group for their hilarious spontaneous performance.

One viewer wrote: "So talented and having so much fun. What a team Kayos!"

Another said: "Inverclyde Youth Theatre at the Fringe... Sometimes you just have to burst into song in a train station!"

And a third commented: "This is bloody amazing guys!"
