Watch easyJet plane abandon landing at last second at Bristol Airport

The pilot of an easyJet flight was forced to abandon landing at Bristol Airport  due to strong winds.

A video, posted on Youtube by plane spotter Mraviationguy, shows the flight from Alicante coming in to land on Tuesday (December 10).

However, passengers experienced a nervous landing than expected as the plane battled strong crosswinds.

With the plane's wheels about to touch down, the pilot abandons the landing before landing without issue the second time.

Posting the video on Youtube, Mraviationguy said: "The pilots of this Easyjet Airbus A319 flight arriving at Bristol Airport from a much more pleasant Alicante had a real battle against a forceful crosswind today (December 10).

"They opt to abort the landing the first time round before putting it down the second time.

"Brilliant job as always!

"After being vectored back around the plane landed safely on the 2nd attempt 10 minutes later."
