As a draft prospect, getting the call from the team that’s drafting you is a memory to never forget. Earnest Brown IV surely won’t forget his call from Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams.
After McVay gave Brown a call to share the good news, Brown’s phone cut out and dropped the call. Then McVay called him back and it went straight to voicemail.
“Hey man, I can’t believe you hung up on me!” McVay joked with the incoming rookie.
Brown obviously didn’t hang up on McVay, it’s just that he was in an area with bad reception.
