Its only practice, but this one play from a one-on-one phase of Eagles training camp practice highlights the enormous potential this offense has with DeSean Jackson in the lineup.
Jackson and new teammate, Darius Slay matched up as the No. 1’s for both sides and the Eagles veteran smoked Slay in the first of many battles.
The play says more about Jackson’s potential chemistry with quarterback Carson Wentz who put his elite deep ball skills on display during the play. Slay played the coverage well, but Jackson’s second burst is truly second to none.
