Rookie camps are beginning to take place around the NFL, and Friday was the first one for the Washington Redskins. You know what that means — former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins was ready to make an appearance in our nation’s capital and show the NFL-types what he can do for the first time.
It was also a little bit of a surreal moment watching Haskins fill out the Redskins colors. Watch as he jogs into camp for the first time wearing the iconic helmet thanks to the official Redskins Twitter feed.
Once Haskins got under center and went to work, he also showed some of the same deep ball magic he thrilled fans at Ohio State with — putting a deep go route right on the money to Kelvin Harmon.
