Watch Dundalk star Jordan Flores' wonder goal in Cork City win

With Dundalk already cruising to victory against once great rivals Cork City last night, Jordan Flores pulled an early goal of the season contender out of the bag.

A first-half Michael Duffy goal and a 62nd minute Patrick Hoban penalty had all but wrapped up three points for Vinny Perth's men.

But as a Cork clearance ricocheted off Flores' leg, he only had one thing on his mind.

The English midfielder let rip off his left and caught it right on the sweet spot with a half volley and rifled it into the top left corner.

The wonder goal stunned an already humming Oriel Park as the Lilywhites sailed to a 3-0 win, keeping the pace with title rivals Shamrock Rovers as they continued their perfect start to the season.

Meanwhile, Cork City are nailed to the bottom, conceding ten goals and failing to score a single goal as they continue to search for their first points of the campaign.
