Watch: Dubs reveal how much they spend on a friend's Christmas present

It's a question many of us are afraid to go near... "How much do we spend on each other?"

When it comes to buying for your friends, it can be hard to know.

Some might have expensive taste and others can be incredibly difficult to buy for.

So, what's the average amount you should spend on a mate? Well, it's clear that there isn't a standard.

Dubs have revealed what they would spend on a friend and the answers were nothing short of varied, with some going for a modest €25 and others saying they would pay over €100 for a friend's Christmas gift.

One woman revealed: "We just go out together and celebrate, have a meal and a catch-up about things, about nine of us."

Meanwhile, one man detailed his idea of a perfect Christmas present for one of his mates: "I think a bottle of whiskey is probably a generous present if you're a good friend. And a really good whiskey if it's a really good friend. Around about €30 to €50."

Another person said: "I think for a friend, everyone's had a very tough year, so we definitely have to catch up. €50 and no more - only for my best friends. Kris Kindle is the way to do it and then maybe stretch it to €100."

While another revealed: "It depends on the friend, maybe some books or some chocolate. I think €25 is still a decent price to get anything."
