Motorists faced a morning of chaos following a collision on the M50 this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash involving a truck and a car on the M50 northbound J7 Lucan.
One lane was temporarily closed as gardai and the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí and Emergency Services attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the M50 (Junction 7) involving a truck and a car at 8am this morning, Friday 3rd September 2021.
"One lane was temporarily closed as a result of the collision. The road has since been cleared.
"No injuries have been reported at this time and enquiries are ongoing."
There were massive delays on the motorway this morning after a second multi-vehicle collision on the M50 southbound just after J7 Lucan.
Three lanes were blocked and motorists were asked to avoid the area.
