Watch Dublin band Fontaines D.C. perform on Jimmy Fallon's US chat show

Last night, Dublin indie-rock band Fontaines D.C. made a return visit to US comedian Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show on NBC. However, this time they didn't need to cross the Atlantic to do it.

Instead, the five-piece band appeared in a stunning performance video recorded especially for the programme at The Auld Shillelagh pub in London.

The clip showed frontman Grian Chatten wandering around the pub like a karaoke singer, speak-singing the words to the band's song A Hero's Death while interacting with extras, his bandmates and the camera.

Coming across like a music video but apparently performed live in a single take, it's another example of how artists and broadcasters are finding new ways to be creative during the pandemic.
