Watch drunk Glasgow man's hysterical viral TikTok tour of the city

A traditional guided tour of Glasgow might involve being shown around places such as the cobbled lanes of the west end of the city, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and the Botanic Gardens.

But it's one drunk Glaswegian's 'alternative' tour of the city that's the talk of the steamie at the moment - racking up nearly 100,000 views to date on TikTok and over 10,000 views on Twitter.

The hysterical video by local TikTok star Jimmy Stewart sees him show his followers the magical sight that is the Four Corners on a gloomy rainy night after having sunk a few shandies by the looks of it.

Jimmy also visits the old St Enoch Subway ticket office ("which brings me back to my youth"), telling his followers that "I'll look after anybody that's in trouble in my town" before asking them the $64 million question that is "which town am I in?" with the camera pointed looking up Buchanan Street.

He then wanders up Argyle Street telling a story about "some guys from Stirling" before stopping outside Argyle Street Station to tell his followers that it is his first night out in Glasgow - presumably post-lockdown, before finishing the grand tour on Stockwell Street as he heads for home.

Plenty of his followers commented on the video asking Jimmy if he had a sore head in the morning, with the TikTok star responding that he had sorted himself out with "coffee and painkillers".

And Jimmy also thanked those who expressed concern about his welfare, writing: "I appreciate all your concern, I got home safe but if it wasn't for TikTok a wouldn't have remembered getting home!".

We wonder if Jimmy will be showing us some of the other city sights in the near future!
