Drew Brees has institutionalized a number of traditions during his long, 19-year career as quarterback of the New Orleans Saints. One of his most-famous habits is the fiery pregame speech and chant he leads with the entire team huddled around him, inspired by a visit he took on a USO Tour years ago.
This year is no different. Brees helped fire up the 2019 preseason with a familiar pregame huddle, hyping up himself and his teammates before kickoff against the Minnesota Vikings.

Brees rarely dresses for preseason games, so it looks like he may take the field for a few snaps early on against the Vikings. Hopefully the offensive line will continue to keep him clean and out of the way of unnecessary danger.
