The Golden State Warriors have to make just one simple fix to get back to winning in the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets. That’s according to Draymond Green, anyway.
The Warriors’ power forward told reporters after their 112-108 loss in Game 4 Monday night that, with a change of mindset, they will win this series.
“We are going into a fight thinking it is a fair fight,” Green said after the Warriors’ second-straight loss. “It’s not. They’re doing whatever it takes to win. We are just going in there like, ‘Oh okay, we’ll box.’ And they’re slamming us.”
Green continued, saying, “We know the answer to our problem and that is pretty exciting. That’s my department to lead in. If I do, I have no doubt everyone else will follow — and we will win.”
The Warriors and Rockets head back to Oakland for Game 5 of the series Wednesday night with the series tied 2-2.
