WATCH: Draymond Green discusses his motivations with Jaren Jackson Jr.

With the NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and defending champion Golden State Warriors in full swing, in what has been an incredible postseason for Draymond Green, he took the time to sit down with Jaren Jackson Jr., former Spartan and Memphis Grizzlies rookie, to discuss the people in his life that motivate and inspire him. Draymond has been getting profound over the course of the playoffs, and this interview was no different.

Jaren Jackson Jr. asked Draymond: “Who would you say inspired you the most throughout this whole journey?”

Draymond Green’s response:

“I think for me personally that has changed over the course of time.. early on it was my mom, you know just how can I provide a life for my mom that she’s never had you know what I’m saying? So that was early on, now I’ve done that. Like you find those new challenges and new things that push you so now it’s like I have my own family. How do I continue to provide in a major way for my family and most importantly for my son… what do I want him to see, as far as my game, as far as my attitude, as far as livelihood.”
