This is the dramatic moment a motorist rammed their car into a police van while trying to escape before fleeing.
In the footage - which you can watch above - a silver car can be seen colliding into a West Yorkshire Police van in a desperate bid to avoid being arrested.
The driver narrowly squeezes through a small gap between the police van and another parked car.
The force of the crash caused the van to bounce and swerve sideways towards officers on the pavement.
Dewsbury Proactive Team (DPT) posted the footage on Twitter Sunday morning (March 1), reports Yorkshire Live .
The team captioned the video with a warning: "This manner of driving to evade arrest will simply not be tolerated. #wewillfindyou #DPT ."
The DPT is part of West Yorkshire Police's Kirklees district, and target wanted criminals and suspects across the district.
Where and when exactly the incident happened is yet to be confirmed, but fellow Twitter users have suggested it took place in Ravensthorpe.
