WATCH: Did Celtics’ Kemba Walker come back too quickly vs. Knicks?

If you just looked at the box score of Sunday’s Boston Celtics 105 – 75 blowout loss to the New York Knicks, it would look like starting point guard Kemba Walker might have come back to action a little early.

And at least as far as finding his shot goes, you might have a point. But Walker wasn’t out 10 games into the 2020-21 NBA season because he went on a cold streak — he had been rehabbing a chronically sore knee in need of strengthening. And when it came to burst and speed, the UConn product looked like he was where he needed to be against the Knicks.
