What happens when Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has time in the pocket to survey the field? He finds the open man.

With 1:19 to go in the third quarter, Watson connected with tight end Jordan Akins for a 15-yard touchdown that put the Texans ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers 21-17 Sunday at Rokit Field at Dignity Health Sports Park.

If the Texans can hold to the lead, they will move to 2-1 on the season. However, they have a whole fourth quarter to go. Even if they don’t, the tight end option in the Texans’ passing game is starting to become a true threat.
