The Houston Texans needed to respond to the Oakland Raiders after rookie receiver Hunter Renfrow scored an easy 65-yard touchdown on a slant thanks to two missed tackles.
Houston sustained a decent, six-play, 75-yard drive with quarterback Deshaun Watson capping it off with a 12-yard touchdown pass to running back Duke Johnson.
It is the second receiving touchdown on the season for Johnson, who the Texans traded for on Aug. 8. 2019 marks the third straight season where Johnson has had two-plus receiving touchdowns.
The Texans need all the points they can get as they seek a win. The entire AFC South won in Week 8, which means the first place Indianapolis Colts create more separation and the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans make up more ground on the Texans.
