Davis has carried the same message each week, having stepped into the role when Brees missed a Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks after undergoing thumb surgery. The veteran linebacker told his teammates to “prowl, kill, and eat,” and Brees followed up by bringing back the “win again” chant he made iconic in the Saints’ 2009 run up to Super Bowl XLIV.
