WATCH: Deebo Samuel fights off coverage, hauls in 79-yard touchdown

It was a big day for 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and wide receiver Deebo Samuel, and the two connected for a huge play on the 49ers’ second drive of the second half.

On a third-and-8, Garoppolo lofted one up for Samuel who fought back to the underthrown pass to make the catch. Then he turned on the afterburners and raced in for the longest touchdown of the young season for San Francisco. It put the 49ers ahead of the Lions 38-10.
