Watch: Daryl Worley takes TD away from Lions with ridiculous one-handed interception

With the Lions up 14-10 late in the second quarter, they were once again threatening to score. Matt Stafford set up at the Oakland 20-yard-line and threw for his receiver Kenny Golladay who earlier made a 59-yard touchdown catch.

Stafford has also thrown a long completion to Marvin Jones Jr earlier in the game with Daryl Worley in coverage. So, naturally, when he saw Worley one-on-one with Golladay, he thought it was worth a shot.

Golladay went up the left sideline and Stafford put the ball in the air hoping Golladay would win the battle for the ball as Jones had earlier. But this time Worley wasn’t having it.

Golladay draped all over him, including putting his arm around Worley’s neck, but Worley would not be denied. He reached up with his left arm and snagged the pass for a spectacular interception for a touchback.

Take a look.

Boy, did Worley and the Raiders defense ever need that.

The offense took advantage and drove for a touchdown of their own.
