WATCH: Danny Ainge talks adding Evan Fournier, other deadline moves

Boston Celtics team president Danny Ainge spoke to the media this morning about the moves he and the rest of the Celtics’ front office made on the 2021 NBA trade deadline this past Thursday, explaining his thoughts on the process and why the team made a move to sign Fournier in particular.

Ainge talks about how sees Fournier as a player fitting into the team’s existing needs and chemistry, where the team as at ahead of the moves and why he felt it was time to pull the trigger on a midseason trade of note for the first time since 2015, and a host of related issues. The Celtics president was frank about his motives, as well as why he believes Fournier is the guy Boston will want for seasons to come.
