The moves made by the Boston Celtics may have put some pressure on veteran big man Daniel Theis and third-year forward Semi Ojeleye, but with some luck it’ll be the sort that translates to on-court results in the long run.
The German — fresh off a minor procedure in his knee — is likely to share starting duties with veteran Tristan Thompson joining the team while the SMU product is looking at what might be his last real shot at earning a meaningful role on the team with the departure of Gordon Hayward.
Both will need to step up their game to keep the team’s trajectory upwards, and appeared ready to do so in their respective media week press conferences.
