While there are some Jacksonville Jaguars fans who feel there isn’t a wide receiver worth taking in the top-10, Ole Miss’ D.K. Metcalf would beg to differ. The young star receiver put on a clinic at the NFL scouting combine Saturday and was able to produce two ridiculous 40-yard dash times of 4.33 and 4.38.
Simply put, a 6-foot-3, 228-pound man shouldn’t be able to do that.
Metcalf already had a heavy buzz surrounding him going into the combine due to the physique he built over the last few months — and his performance at the combine is just the icing on the cake. All that said, if the Jags don’t go with a quarterback in Round 1, it’s hard to image that Metcalf hasn’t done enough to be their second option of choice.
