WATCH: Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott avoids NFL suspension

Ezekiel Elliott was involved in altercation with a security guard at a concert in Las Vegas in May, but the NFL has ruled after an investigation into the incident that no further action will be taken and Elliott will not face discipline.

The Dallas Cowboys running back was caught on camera making physical contact with the security guard, who fell into a metal security gate and onto the ground. Despite being warned that another instance that involves law enforcement could result in a second suspension – following Elliott’s six-game suspension in 2017 stemming from domestic violence allegations – the 23-year-old former Ohio State Buckeye was not found to have violated the personal conduct policy.

Elliott met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell Tuesday for the commissioner “to reinforce the standards of conduct expected of him and the consequences for failing to meet those standards.”
