WATCH: Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says ‘don’t bet any money’ on Jason Garrett getting fired

The Dallas Cowboys started the season 3-0 versus the Giants, Redskins, and Dolphins — the latter two teams are winless, while New York only won a pair of games after making a QB switch (and one of the two wins is versus Washington).

Jerry Jones’ team struggled versus the competitive Saints (4-1) and Packers (4-1) and it caused Las Vegas to set odds Monday that said Cowboys coach Jason Garrett would be the next NFL head coach fired (following the outing of Jay Gruden in DC).

On team owner, Jones’ weekly phone interview on Dallas radio station 105.3 TheFan, co-hosts Shan and RJ asked if that rumor should be dispelled and the owner answered, “Well, yes. Dispel it, yes. Don’t bet any money on that happening. You’ll lose it.,” according to CowboysWire.

The Cowboys have a struggling kicker and banged-up offensive line, they visit the New York Jets (0-4) Sunday. The home team will have its season-starting quarterback on the field for the first time since Week 1 as Sam Darnold returns from being sidelined by mononucleosis.
