Conor McGregor soaked up the atmosphere from fans at the official UFC 246 after-party in Las Vegas.

The MMA fighter was draped in the Irish tri-colour on stage at Encore Beach Club on the Las Vegas strip and soaked in the deafening cheers from fans celebrating the return of the UFC poster boy to the Octagon.

McGregor thanked fans for their support and said it helped seal the win against Donald Cerrone.

Conor McGregor said to the crowd: "What's up Ireland? Thank you all so much for the support.

"Let's get this party started.

"This support got me the win tonight."

'The Notorious' then raised his arms and looked to the roof as "All I do is win" by DJ Khaled thumped from the speakers.

McGregor destroyed Cowboy in 40 seconds in the main event of UFC 246 in Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.

The Irishman floored him with a thunderous left kick before unloading a number of savage punches.

The result means McGregor has become the first person in the history of the UFC have recorded knockout wins at featherweight, lightweight and welterweight.

McGregor vowed to knock Cowboy out before the fight and stated he wanted to "acquire rounds".

He got one half of what he wished for by absolutely annihilating the MMA veteran.

McGregor looks set to stay fighting at welterweight and he says he doesn't care who he faces next as the 170lbs champion Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal looked on.

Speaking after the fight, McGregor said: "I'm going to party tonight, celebrate, spend time with my family and then get back in the gym and train.

"And anyone of these little mouthy fools can get it."
