It took until the fourth quarter, but the Indianapolis Colts finally got on the board with a touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Thursday night’s preseason opener, courtesy of a 33-yard touchdown run by quarterback Chad Kelly.
As the team’s leading rusher for the night, Kelly took a read-option to the house after beautifully selling the handoff and reading the edge collapse. Once he got passed the edge, he went untouched for 33 yards into the end zone.
Battling for the QB3 role on the depth chart with Phillip Walker, Kelly had a solid night that would be highlighted by this huge touchdown run.
