While Bears fans are surely nursing a headache following Sunday’s embarrassing loss to the Saints, there’s still good news: Cody Parkey isn’t a Chicago Bear.
As Bears fans watched the atrocity that was the Bears-Saints game in the late afternoon, Parkey was doing what he does best for the Titans: Doinking the football off the upright.
Now, he didn’t do it a miraculous four times — which certainly seems harder to do than actually making them — he did doink one off the upright on an extra point attempt for the Titans in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Parkey, who shall be known as the “doink king,” did connect on his other two extra points, as well as a 45-yard field goal. Too bad it wasn’t from 43 yards because that’s a guaranteed miss for former Bears kicker.
