WATCH: Clyde striker David Goodwillie stuns Alloa with goal from 'ridiculous' angle

David Goodwillie netted a last-gasp winner for Clyde from such an acute angle it's left fans wondering just how the striker pulled it off.

The Bully Wee were drawing 1-1 with Alloa as the League One match entered the 89th minute and Goodwillie collected the ball on the far side, darting into the box and jinking his way around his marker on the byeline before somehow finding the net with a composed finish.

It was the former Dundee United striker's second goal of the game, having broken the deadlock with a bullet header on 59 minutes, and earned the Broadwood side their first win of the campaign.

And fans couldn't believe the calibre of the finish.

Scott Mackie tweeted: "I was convinced it went into the side netting. Keeper never knew what hit him."

William Lawson said: "Fantastic goal from such a tight angle. We all thought it was into the side netting. It was but from inside the goal. Ya beauty."

Dominic Jack commented: "If anyone can explain how that 2nd goal went in I’d really appreciate it."

And @LAM_1877 simply said: "Ridiculous angle."

Next up for Danny Lennon's side is a trip to Falkirk, who beat Airdrie with 10 men yesterday, on Saturday afternoon.
