The future is bright for Trevor Lawrence despite Clemson falling in the CFP semifinal to Ohio State and the quarterback finishing second in the Heisman Trophy voting.
When you go 34-2 as a starter with the Tigers, you have long ago earned grades to make you the expected No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
And that is why the Jacksonville Jaguars had to be thrilled when Lawrence announced Wednesday he will be leaving college and heading to the NFL.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Lawrence exits college having thrown for 10,098 yards and 90 touchdowns in three seasons. He has to be one of the best players never to win the Heisman.
